it feels good when riding. real agile and quick to maneuver since its so light. i think if u start her on a 250, ninja would be a good way to go. a lot of girls start out on this bike too so, yea why not get one for your wife. :)
 
I think iv decided to go that route, can you tell me if anoy of them have "typical" problems that i could look lout for when buying a used one.

I can find a used 02-06 model for round 2G's $

i hate carbs, but even the new ones still dont have FI.

I might have found the ninja 250 the other day, im hoping to get it for around 1K$ if the seller still has it in a few months.

has anyone ever gutted out their own can? I mean gutted not drilled baffles, just putting a strait pipe thru it so it looks stock still

Its not too hard to polish the triger mechanism's and shorten the draw a little. be wary of anyone who says "file the trigger" as an actual file will ruin parts. Stones are less than 20 bucks for a set, and its not actually that hard, if you can put a good edge on a knife you can do it to your trigger.
