these pics are all close to where we ended up after the rolling/sliding was over and looking back to where we had been on the road before loosing it.
 
after the accident-

me- "what happened?"

passenger- "I dunno, I just close my eyes and try not to fall off everytime you turn"

Im covered in road rash, ill try and take some good pics next time i change my bandaidges.

fortunately the passenger only has a bruised schrped knee and so other small scrapes...

Im getting leather next time, cuz my joe rocket mesh jacket only saved me on the first impact, then it shredded
 
Basically how I lost control was coming out of the second corner where the road bank tilts the opposite way. this wasnt a big deal, the problem was when I corrected my lean angle i did it rather swiftly and this startled my passenger who instinctivle must have pulled the wrong way, because the bike kept getting heavier and pulling towards the shoulder for some reason

While i was pushing the bars to stay left. This was kindof like a slow struggle from a movie, where one soldier has a knife and is slowily pushing it into the other guys chest who is trying to fight it (saving private ryan in the tower scene)

well anyway we powerslid off the road and i recoverd somehow !!! and held it steady, just to loose it in the grass !!!


insurance and all is taken care of already !!! I had full coverage


the bike doesnt look that bad because of my super bullet proof paint see this thread below http://forum.svrider.com/showthread.php?t=67470


the bike is totaled, and not a single scratch on it !!! im proud of my self


oh and this was on sunday (like one week ago)
 
Ouch! Sorry for your loss man and glad your ok. I went down back in October and my textile jacket was useless. Leather is hot, but beats the road rash. Your smart and had a SNELL approved lid too. Did you have frame sliders?

Are you sure you want a gixxer? Have you checked out Honda's 600RR or a Yamaha's R6? Either way your gonna LOVE a four cylinder. Here's my baby that I picked up earlier this year. It's an 08 R6S.

OH no ! thats not a GISXR !!!

once you go L twin, you cant go Back...

but no, i had no frame sliders, but they wouldnt have helped with the front end damage from runing into a ditch and tree ...
and thanks, i just ordered leather too :headbang2
