anyone ever breed retics? what size?

It all depends on the particular ray. I had a 9in male motoro and he was a year and a half old. He barly had any claspers and they were maybe and inch long. Unfortunatly he passed away, and I got a new male. Well he is 9in and he is fully developed and a only a little over a year old.
 
any particular size that they should be around for breeding? if you have seen mine you know they are small retics but im optomistic lol
 
You have a while to wait unfortunatly. I think you are going to have to wait till your male gets at least 7 or 8in before he will be fully developed, but you never know.
 
how long will that take to reach that size? they are about 4-5 inch disk right now

im not sure on growth rate of rays
