I once bought a bag of live plants for my one of my tanks and found a banjo catfish hiding among the leaves.
Anyone ever brought any interesting stow aways home??

Never anything that cool. A couple of killi fish fry in some hornwart once and of course the super, ultra rare pond snail.
I once got a ball of java moss that lead to a major duckweek spread. Not too rare though.

when i ordered a bunch of fish i ended up getting what i think was a type of Garra (under 1") in amongst my rainbow fish when they were delivered.
that little fish was one of best algae cleaners ive ever had and it survived numerous attempts to eat it by my 4" male GT. it went through months of that and survived to be large enough to stop the attempts only to die when i moved home.

Thats too bad for the little guy but it brings to mind what made me start this thread.I bought a bag of feeder goldfish the other day and after dumping them into my conditioning tank I noticed this little streamlined fish.It is about two inches and resembles a minnow but I want to let it grow some to be sure just what it is.cichlid2006;4014248; said:
