Anyone ever keep a Hong Kong pleco?

I posted a thread about white stuff I found on my driftwood. I thought it might be egg clusters, then I realized my Gold Nugget sits on the driftwood at night. It was crap. I feed him shrimp pellets.

Hi folks,
The Hillstream loaches will continue to die / stress out if their not kept as close to their natural environment as possible . Fast current and cool water ,loads of 02 which is the reason for the cooler temps. The fish has evolved to live in these conditions.Plants may add oxygen to the water when the lights are on but their not found where hillies come from.
