Anyone ever kept Pimodella ornate catfish?

Very cool to have a group of them. They get about a foot eventually. I've seen them kept with severums, larger barbs and the like. Anything that they can't eat...

Where did you get them from and for how much? I find their pricing can vary wildly, from $25 to $75.

I got lucky enough to get 12. They are 6"-10" now.

The fish name is Pimelodus ornatus or ornate Pim catfish.

"Pimelodella" is a different genus from Pimelodus, moreover, oddly enough it's in a different family of Heptapteridae, not in Pimelodidae. https://www.planetcatfish.com/common/species.php?species_id=428

I have a single one with my Oscar, it's about seven inches now. During the day it stays in a cave, swimming in place. Lights goes out and it wanders about eating everything. Main staple food is Hikari Carnivore pellets.

I paid 50 a piece. I got it from an importer out of Illinois.
