Had one at my house a couple years back, High city Rida and Pwmin have also hosted. We had the first at Mike's Killer Fish back in '07 or 08' but he closed his business.

As for LFS's, as far as the Denver area is concerned, the only one I feel the need to try and frequent is Fish Palace. Our metro area has a pretty sorry group of LFS's......although Golden Fish is great for Africans, and, as mentioned, is a good place to find small Dats and Bichirs every now and then. Fish Den and Todd's have mainly cookie cutter community fish, but both have a few tanks with large fish, which, every once in a while have some good finds.
 
Speaking of bichirs, they have a tank FULL of ornates, like 2" long, they are sooo cute! Golden Fish that is, they are like $25, think I'm going to get one. She has tiger bichirs too, but they're a bit bigger.
 
I'd be down for a meet and greet even though I know it will be up in Denver.I've met some good people up there since I've lived here.
 
I have a chiclid set up in my 75 gallon and the wife wants to make the new 130 gallon into a chiclid tank as well so I will have to check that goldens place out for sure!!!
 
I live just south of Brighton. I've been to most of the stores mentioned but not Fish Palace, I'm gonna have to check it out. Does any one know if any of the local stores would take in my RTCxTSN? Or if any of you are interested let me know.
