I live in Ohio and just recently got into Oscars. I am looking for a REALLY good pet store or something that has healthy lively Oscars. my Main focus is on an Albino Tiger Oscar. so if you can help please feel free to do so. BTW... I have 2 Oscars right now... a tiger and a red.

Which part of Ohio? I pretty much only know the Dayton area. I was at Aquarium Adventure in Columbus a couple of weeks ago, really nice store. But I don't remember their Albino Oscar situation.

I found this on another forum, hope it helps

And the list goes on, they have over 20 takes with oscars in different shapes colors and sizes. You should see there brackish water collection.

just curious if you could find out a address for these guys. i live here in columbus and have never heard of them.

The Aquatic People Columbus, Ohio? never herd of them ya'll know any sweet fish stores?

i will add my name to the list of people in columbus who haven't heard of "aquatic people" ... and i feel safe in saying that it doesn't exist (or the name is really Aquarium Adventures)

as for stores that i do know of, all of the Jacks stores have them. i frequent the Easton location, and it is by far the nicest.
AA (aquarium adv.) has them too. AA is always has higher prices, but its a nicer store to look around, so i guess its whatever you prefer.

i have even seen them at the petsmart stores, and big chain stores, but typically the quality there isnt as good IMO

good luck, hope that helps. and i hope we can figure out the "aquatic people" thing???

the Jacks location at Easton is where i go. (or "Easton area") its on Morse Road, on the "northeast" side of the city ... 1/2 mile west of 270 at the Morse Road exit, on the north side of the road. there is a Walmart, and then a strip mall just to the west, and it is in there.

AA is on sawmill road, 1/2 mile south of 270 on the "northwest" side of the city

* directions are for people not familiar with columbus, not nessicarily you :)

The Aquarium Adventures in Brooklyn, OH is the worst fish store in the area. Sky high prices. Terrible selection. Arrogant workers. They could care less about providing a good service... I hear they are going out soon too, and they deserve it. It's not hard to put some effort into your store. The only good part of the store is/was Jackie and their former store manager Jeff.
