Not sure if you are still looking for people but I’m in SoCal. Also , there is a a fish store in Santa Ana that seems to be increasing their meetups. It’s called Nolan’s aquarium. Pretty small store but they are having a cichlid youtuber come in this Saturday sort of like a small meetup to talk and have refreshments.
