Anyone..... Frustrated???

I've seen that King of DIY video and it makes perfect sense. Thought about doing that. I can do that short term and then will drill and plumb over the weekend! Heaters are not fully submerged because they are not submersible. :( New Aqueon pros on the way but I have to take it easy to avoid the wrath of the misses.

I was going to say drill it but that means a lot of work since you had it up and running.

1 inch PVC measured, cut, n glued. Two hours before I can use it though. I can't wait for these sumps not be a headache anymore. First stroll in the park with dual sumps. Live and learn I guess. Just glad I didn't make a soggy mess.... Oh wait. I did that over the weekend when I forget to turn the water off! :/

Lmao its worth it at the end of the day knowing you did all the work. LOL we get water all over the place from time to time.

They're $10 LED under cabinet lights from Home Depot. Sorry. Just caught the second sentence in your post. They have low and high brightness and they don't get hot nor burn too much electricity! The second plus for me was that they are linkable up to 10 units if I recall correctly. So one plug, lots of light, and they're still individually controllable.

they still sell heaters that aren't submersible? I would have thought they finally realized how much of an epic fail they are and stopped making them a long time ago

but they are HOBs? omg, I'd get so annoyed constantly topping off the tank everyday just to keep them from getting to far above water level

Lol! Heaters. Just heaters that are made by a filter company. Welcome to my struggle. New ones will be here by the weekend so that will be the end of that. I'll sell them to ya for the cost of shipping just so you can reminisce the days you had to do daily water top offs.
