thats very close, but i remember it having massive eyes.

A lot of catsnakes have large eyes, and generally younger ones they are even larger in proportion to when they kind of grow into them... that's the only thing I can think of.

Namibian House snakes (Lamprophis fuliginosis ssp)? Other than that, all I can think of is some type of cat snake, like mensioned before.
