Anyone got rapps 'rio tempique' red sided barred midas?

what an absolute beast, must be 16-17 inch! what other cichlids can hit that size besides umbee, cichla, some tilapia, emporer and dovii...? hoga, festae, beani, jag, uaru, butti, argentea... not many more right?
if that umbee is actually 13 inch then that chancho will totally dwarf any midas.... surprising they arnt a lot more popular. ive messaged jeff to see if he can get any for the order but no reply yet...? B bigguapote !-)

Yeah I think in another video he says he is over 16" I believe. I'm guessing they aren't that popular due to color. I just ordered 4 from COA and they are grey and kinda drab looking. Of course imo they look awesome as they grow. I can't think of any other cichlids that grow as big aside from those on your list.
well a male rtm could but that kinda goes along with the dovii and jag, really the parachromis in general.
