See tiny has a true red devil. People always say that people have purebred red devils, but they just don't have those lips. When you see a pure red devil it is obvious. If it doesn't have those lips then its not a pure red devil.

Not true. After a couple generations of tank raised A. labs the huge lips go away. They're more a product of the environment. Used as a sort of "O-ring" to create suction to pull inverts out of tight places. Use them or lose them.

thanks for the replies. the reason I ask is that I have never seen a red devil with huge lips and a big hump on the head? do they not get the hump like midas? I have only kept wild Midas never red devil so I dont know maybe they dont get a hump? but it would be awesome to see huge lips and a huge hump.
