I'm new to the forum. I always liked the idea of monster fish. But right now I have a couple "small" tanks, 20g & 55g. Anyway I like the idea of 150g+ tanks but I was wondering if anyone has a monster tank with large schools of small fish? Say schools of 20+ of 1"-3" fish. I was wondering if it would be cool with a natural looking setup tank with a couple schools of about 30 fish each and then a few community center piece fish.

Welcome postshawn. Off hand I know I've seen alot of people with large clown loach populations in their tanks. Often times over 40. Go to your control panel and check out the loaches section. You'll be amazed!!

I haven't done that but like the idea and have thought about it. I did once have a male Betta in a 600g. tank with no tank mates.

That has to be the biggest waste of space ever!:headshake:shakehead Could keep a male betta in a bowl or 3 gallon hex.:wall:

Better a bowl than a 600g tank for that one 3-4in fish:ROFL:

not sure how that's better but the o.p., what's your idea of a monster? you lookin for a lil terror or somethin that looks nice? you could get exodons if you want terrors. every other monster, by my definition, you wouldn't be able to pack multiple in the tank sizes you have
