i think they go up to 40" in the wild. probably 30" in captivity max. but im not sure abt the one in captivity though. im tellin you man u wont regret it. and an advice (got this from some of the seller) get it 20 cm up cuz its very prone to death when its smaller.

not all at the same time, my most was 3 at once (thats what she said) but they usually cohab okay until about 10" or so.
