Anyone have any drawn up plans for using 8' X 4' acrylic sheets?

I just made a quick Excel spreadsheet that calculates the square footage of the tank based on the exterior tank dimensions. Pretty simple, not sure how I'd go about adding in things like subtracting the acrylic thickness or the 1/8th inch lost with each cut. It also just factors in an open top.

You could make a 72" X 18" X 18" and have .5ft^2 left over. I'll see if I can make it more complex...

I wouldn't advise 1/4" acrylic for a tank that's 15" tall. 1/4" acrylic is only recommended to be used up to 12-13" tall. Just food for thought before you buy or build.

Recommended by whom? The acrylic calculator on this forum? Vastly over-estimates the thickness.

Not the acrylic calculator on this forum, but any acrylic build, and acrylic calculator that I've come across. I know what calculator on this forum you are referring to, and that is not the one I am referring to.

Sorry, edit to add links to sources I am referencing:

Those are just 3 I can remember off the top of my head.

I am not trying to be rude, just helpful.
