Well I have finally just about had enough of the worst company ever in the history of companies. Comcast sucks in just about every way possible and I now they finally have broken the last straw. Been with CONcast for about 3-4 years now. It literally took 14 months to ever get a correct bill from them. They kept trying to charge us for things we did not have, they did not want to honor the contract even though we had it right in front of us, spent hours upon hours on the phone the whole first year with people in foreign countries trying to get the bill right only to be passed around like a cheap whore from one call center to the next. Finally got the bills right after 14 months.

Still deal with other garbage from them such as having to unplug the DVR box about every 10 days to reset it because it freezes up. Just recently though was the very last straw with them. The main reason I left wideopenwest and went with comcast 4 yrs ago was because being a huge angler I wanted the World Fishing network WFN which comcast offered in their sports package for an extra $10 per month. Now out of the blue they dropped WFN. Which is BS because I was paying extra to get it so they should not be able to drop a ch you are paying extra for! So I've had it with them, gonna cancel the sports package today and look to get rid of comcast all together now.

Looking at maybe AT&T Uverse. The ONLY good thing about comcast is the internet speed, I get 91mbs download and 12mbps upload with them. How is AT&T for speed? anyone have them?

Concast, good one lol! I have never heard of Uverse before now.

I have ATT U-Verse. Had Comcast and hated them.

ATT is better, but not perfect. They are expensive where I am, but they have rock solid transmission and fairly reliable equipment. I've never had to pay for a service call and they come within 2-3 days and pretty much always on-time. Their technicians and repair people are pretty good, ime, especially compared to Comcast.

No fiber yet, so that's a negative.

I had U-Verse. I think my DVR box was messed up I went through a period of having to reset the main box once a week. It was working ok when my wife switched to direct TV.

I had Uverse for 10 years.

The good - Only had a few one off service issues that required a technician.

The bad - Their customer service has gone downhill every single year I dealt with them along with prices consistently increasing for the same bundle. After they merged with DirecTV, it was a joke. The bill was never the same amount month to month in a decade although no service changes were made. They blame taxes, fees, promotion expiring, etc. as the reason. I scheduled service to be disconnected on the last day of my contract and customer service didn't even get that right.

If you decide to get on board with them be ready for a roller coaster ride. Also, don't let them try to slide DirecTV in to the bundle unless that's what you want. They push it because it's satellite TV and frees up bandwidth for their Internet service since they don't have to use the same bonded pair. I'm not against satellite service, it just seems like a bait and switch tactic.

Oh this is a good one. I cancelled the sports package 2 days ago since WFN is no longer on it. Today I'm flipping around and wondering what happened to CMT. Get this one, CMT (Country Music Television) as well as TCM (Turner Classic Movies) are part of the "Sports" package with CONcast. WTF? God I hate them with a passion. Seriously giving AT&T a really good look now. Gotta get these bozos at Concast out of my house for good asap!

Looks like I might be in the minority but I HATED AT&T Uverse. I've given them a chance twice and hated it both times, always switch back to Comcast. Had issues with internet speeds and the bill. Internet speeds were usually half of what I was promised, then my bill was never consistent month to month. There is no reason for my bill to change every month. After the last time I dumped them for good, I will not be going back. I know Comcast has it's flaws, but honestly I've never run into them. I pay for 150 mbps net and usually get 180 mbps+, bill is always exactly the same every month.

I think you are LUUUUUUCKY fishguy lol. I know ALL cable companies suck to some extent, but comcast is just on a whole other level of suck , they have been just one problem after the other for the 3-4 yrs we've had them. Seems that's true for most people that have Comcast. Hopefully you continue to have good luck with them.
