Anyone have bike suggestions?

check craigslist. you can get good deals on there. you can snag a few year old canondale, trek, specalized, etc for a good price on there. i picked up a 14yo Trek 1400 for $200 a while ago. its in good shape. im planning on a new cassette and chain for christmas but thats about $40-50 swap

Try to pick up a used Trek 9800 carbon frame and build it up from parts. I did this and now have a $3500 bike with about $850 invested.
