keep them cool, offer a basking area 84-94F. how many are you thinking of getting? A 40g breeder for one, they eat a variety of foods (roaches, crickets, superworms, earthworms, minnows, pinkies), clean filtered water is best, a full spectrum bulb offering UVB/UVA. I think they're alot easier than what people make them out to be... I dont have any for myself just yet... but I already have my setups in mind.

Not looking at getting really anything anytime soon, but I enjoy learning as much as I can about things that I find interesting. It also helps me figure out what I might want to get when the time comes that I actually can get something. What should the land/water ratios be?

Well, given the lack of information on care for these I think I can strike them from my list of possibilities for the future...

What lack of information litle solle? German guys have bred this critters for a handfull of generations with great sucess, some have kept the same specimen for over 2 decades! If you know what your doing they are as tough as nails, also they are very intersting lizards that dont need expensive electric bills, they can be kept in very lush and atractive vivariums and people keeping and breeding them will help keep them alive on the face of the earth since they are criticly endangered in the wild.

That's great but unless I or someone else can find a more definitive caresheet with precise temperature, humidity, etc. measurements I wouldn't know where to begin with one, let alone finding one available for purchase.
