Okay I have also been eyeing this setup from tsunami. Anyone know if they are reputable?

Although it wouldn't hurt for thicker glass (other than increasing weight), I'm not sure if that's needed of a 24" high tank. Usually when you order custom tanks, they typically will provide a recommended glass thickness and rough "safety factor". So I'd go with what the builder advises and pick what makes you think is best given your options.

I have a 72"x30x28 that with 1/2" starphire glass. But also with 1/2" x 4" wide euro-bracing on the top and bottom perimeter. Also 1/2" x 4" glass brace. It seems to be doing ok.

Im going to end up with the 300 gallon setup. It has 5/8 on the front, back, and bottom and 1/2 inch on the sides. Im going to upgrade the bottom to 3/4. They said it will be fine for the size. The 300 is 96Lx30Hx24W

If you go glass you definitely have to go starfire at that size. I had a 265 with standard glass...the green tint drove me nuts.

YES! I agree 100%

I hated the green tint on my 210g so when I did the upgrade to the 300 I went with the low iron glass.

burban0428, thats pretty much my tank just 5/8" all the way around and the low iron on the front and sides, I went with 3/4 on the bottom too. The price difference is so little between the 24" tall and 30" I think the tall one is the way to go.

Yeah originally i was going with the 24 inch tall tank but for the price the 30 is the best bet
