Anyone have the big one? Pangasianodon gigas?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Last I knew it was about 2', few months back. It wasn't growing at any alarming rate though IIRC, rather was stagnating, it appeared. And it is an albino.

If Bob says he has one I'm inclined to believe him, so it will be interesting to see how his and Vince's develop.

In the first few months this fish rarely ate... it would only take spirulina flakes and after emptying 2 buckets of that in the first 3 months, it finally started taking frozen and pellets. I should keep it in a less busy tank so I can better control the food it eats but it seems to have finally settled in.
I have been growing out several different Pangasianodon sp. and all of them have been growing extremely slow for me.. perhaps it's because they are all color morphs.. even my Paroon sharks grow slow. smh... what do I know? I must be doing something wrong lol

If any of you are in that big facebook group, the Thai Guy who used to have a bull shark uploaded some new pics and he apparently has a Mekong Cat with a Long Fin mutation.
