anyone heard of a belesox?

I bought a fish that I was told was a belesox and I cant find anything on them and have never heard of it it seems to only eat live guppies and sort of looks like a short nose gar?

They're live bearers. You can get them to eat pellets and frozen just takes time and patients. Pretty cool fish. You should keep them in groups with lots of top cover.

it has a small white mark on its lower jaw that i am concerned about anyone have an idea of what this could be? im going to get a picture today
