Anyone heard of this before?

I think a happy ray is a ray that is on the bottom searching for food. Every time I have had this happen to me, there was small amounts of ammonia in the tank.

I have done 2 water changes in the last 4 days, and tested for ammonia, none to be had at all, i also have 2 water pillows in the filters to help with the ammonia, nitrite and nitrates.

He sure looks happy, when i shut off the bubblers he goes back to the bottom and starts searching for food.

Yep: My motoro loves the bubbles as everyone can see, now he spends most of his time playing in the bubbles and he does come down every now and again and searches for food, and he does bury himself in the sand on occassion now. When i feed him, if he is not on the bottom i shut off the bubblers and he comes down right away,i feed him he eats and he is a happy camper to say the least.

Its like he has found a new play toy now LOL.. For the 2 months since i got him, he spent most of his time when the lights were on burried in the sand, and at night would come out searching for food. Now its mostly in the bubbles and searching for food now and again.

Regards Novaman
