I wanna buy a Mean cichlid but dont know which kind to get Ive never had any cichlids before, Any suggestions?

It is great you are asking and not going to petsmart and asking for every cichlid they carry.

Well, it would help immensely if you told us your tank size, other tankmates, water quality and filtration.

If its a live food eater you want...a large JD will grow big and eat whatever is smaller than it....Oscars as well///

Forget that. Get a Green terror (aequidens rivulatus). They are very aggressive, will not outgrow your tank and are very pretty. There are a lot on the market for a good reason, also not to mention they are a fairly cheap fish.

Read up and PM me with any and all Qs about GTs.

You should know:
What to feed them
What the temp should be
What the water quality should be
What decor they enjoy
The best filters for your tank and fish
Gravel color
etc.
Also talking to people like FSM , fishbum and of course me will help a lot.

JDs are very easy to care for but i still recommend GTs
