I am looking for some people that are from Vero Beach FL. The reason is because i will be down in that area from the 27th to the 4th. I plan on heading over to The Indian River Lagoon for some fishing. How is the fishing there been? What's biting? Do you know of any fishing charter or party boats in the area? Any info would be greatly appreciated :)[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif][/FONT]
 
I live in Merritt Island, a couple hours or so north of Vero, I fish the Indian River almost ever day, and this time of year is great. Just google charters in Vero beach. I have been catching redfish, blackdrum and trout all week, there in deeper water right now with the temperatures being as they are. If you dont get a charter, which I recomnd you do, then just throw jigs under docks, and live pinfish if you can get them. At night look for lighted docks and you should find snook. Ask around at the local baitshops as well they always give good advice and they will have info on charters
 
west palm, drive a few hrs south to broward and you can catch exotics galore, even in palm beach county you can as well.
 
I was in orlando a few weeks ago. I know of a few boats- the Orlando Princess and he Miss Cape Canaveral. Don't go with the Orlando Princess- they canceled a trip on us after we wasted 2 hours driving there. Gotta be careful with the Miss Cape Canaveral too. I went there and the crew was generally helpful, but they did try to scam me out of the pool prize for largest fish.
 
Thanks everyone. It was a great trip. I booked a Lagoon charter for the day down there. It was different and a lot of fun. Spent most of the day fishing with the spinner light tackle setups but for the last hour i played with the fly set up. God are those dauphins a PITA or what. Still looking for some fellow ppl in FL that has a boat and would like some people to come along for some fishing. Even freshwater fishing or just at a hot shore spot. Of course spiting for gas and all if we go on a boat. When i go down i stay in Sebring FL and travel somewhere for some fishing. I have gone out at west palm, Ft Myers, and vero beach. So is anyone out there
