I have one male Crown tail Betta who is around two inches he is red and blue but is turning light blue! Not by much though. He did great with my dwarf frog and my oto but you must put a log so the oto can feel safe. Any way they eat Betta fish food but sometimes when he is bloated i give him a pea skin bite size. Also if he seems to be sick or dying he must have been really stress cover the tank with a black piece of paper and check on him or maybe the water isnt conditioned. www.bettacare.com
I love the third one, and all look like quality. I have LFS mutt that is similar in with my goldfish, except he's translucent white at the body of the tail going into reds and blues at the end of his tail, great fish and he schools with the goldies.
Awesome I'm a huge aquatics guy. Well fresh anyways. Use to have a huge selection of plakats. Now I only have two a red plakat femal and a giant halfmoon plakat. Will post photos later.
While I had mine the ghost shrimp began to eat the fins! I was mad i separated them and now there worst enemies.

Those are not breeding bars. Those are stress bars. Breeding bars are vertical.
I've had some bettas in the past. I currently got stuck will 4 marble gene halfmoon plakat females after my male halfmoon plakat died. Here is a pic of one of my pair that I had.
