Anyone here keep hedgehogs as pets?

If you think a dog is to much responsibility don't go with ferrets. They cost me loads more time then my dog.

Out youre posts i understand you don't it to smell. Try gerbills, they are desert animals and almost don't urinate and theyre poo doesn't hold moisture. I kept 2 of them in a 3 feet tank half filled woodcurls, straw and toilet rolls and they where allways building al kind of burrows. I only had to clean them 3 times a year. You have loads of different exotic species of gerbils. I kept Sekeetamys calurus.

yea I was originally looking at gerbils but I've always liked chinchillas and I always thought hedgehogs were cool.
