Anyone here keeping Mayan Cichlids?

Another color varient in a Cenote only a few hundred yards from Azul, it may be that the predominant white rock slabs cause the colors to wash out.

I found the population that lives in pure sea water off Isla de Mujeres is much more red/orange.
Below a shot from a feral Florida population near Everglades city.

Those do have more color on them. Al.ost look like festae from up top. Very nice
 
I got a few better pics this morning. I know hes probably too small to ID properly but now I'm very curious to find out if hes really Mayan.

The lfs I got him from is very good IME but I guess theres always a chance.

If not Mayan, what would be your guess?
Do these guys interbreed regularly with anything else?

Could be anything I’m guessing hybrid, in a couple months you should have a good idea what it is...
