Me too - we had giant snakehead through highschool & uni in BC; they were all over & cheap before they were banned.
My wife wants to move back to BC over the next couple of years, but we've become PBT-people. They're far too cuddly.

The giants and Northern were common in ontario in the late 80s early 90s I live in the country so I don't need to worry about cuddly neighbors lol
 
Never did this, but I heard people used to go to Chinatown in Vancouver and buy live snakeheads that were being sold as food, then they'd just go home and pop them in a tank.
