They are 8/$1, you order in lots of 12 (ie: 96 for $12), and they ship free to your local hardware store.
Check the store locator for those near you.

I've done this a couple of times now, works great. If you need them sooner, just call the locations near you (from the locator) and see if they have some in stock as well.

naw, but thanks....Im gonna try that doityourself thingamabobber Ed posted. Its just for my Emp 400 HOBs anyway....Been reading in this section about how they are better then cartriges.
 
Yo Ed, I just went on that locater thing, for some reason, people only either have the scotch bright metal scrubbers or they sell them individually for like 1 two 2 bucks each....Awww well, guess ill be going back to cartriges cuz of this bull****
 
These are much better than any factory or replacement cartrage for the E400/280. I run them in all of ours. They are even available to give a HUGE shot in the arm to wisper HOB filters.

Clean...efficiant....inexpencive...and no media replacement required.

anyone know anywhere in the long beach, LA, OC area? Although I appreciate the feedback, a real store name in this area would be better. Thanks.
 
i had the same problem when i needed 10000 of them for my pond. never did find a good way of getting them cheap? but now my mom works part time at a fabric store and they stock the same material that the scrubbies are made of. so im going to get her to get that and make a few super balls..
