lol, I just recognized you from Fishbox. There used to be a ton of cichlid guys in the Seattle area but it has been quiet in the area for a while. We used to do group buys from Rapps and other vendors. Miss those days!

Yeah, I go there every once in a while. Usually to buy dog food though - I'm not a community fish tank guy, and that's mostly what they have. And they don't usually have much in the way of cichlids that interest me.
I think I know who you are - I'm pretty sure I met up with you once and picked up some jag fry that you advertised on the Fishbox.
So true - Seems Shawn was the guy who sort of tied all of us cichlid guys together. Since he stopped keeping fish, it hasn't been the same for us

Im not sure if he completely got away from fish? He pops in Fishbox every now and then but I havent talk with him in a long time. He was the cichlid guy up in the Northwest. Love his amphilophus collection, with the wild caught, big lipped devils he kept and his red Isletas and Hoga.
Aquarium trailer!? 32 FEET long? For $1800 bucks? I bet someone could talk him down. Ha.

I am in Marysville pretty new to cichlids just about to start a Malawi tank I have a few SA cichlids. When I stared the hobby I jumped in with a community tank but i have fallen in love with cichlids
