bigredjeep;1327971; said:I would still never buy a lifted Jeep, the average lifted jeep (4 inch 32-33's) have jus suspension lifts and often have seriously worn parts. If someone wants to take the easy way and buy a heavily modified vehicle that was built by someone else, then im sure they will save money, but they also dont know how their vehicle works, and may not be prepared if something happens unexpectedly.

and saving $$$ usually usually means $pending more of YOUR time fixing/moding and less time operating the vehicle having fun.
new parts are easier to put on than fixing rusty old major components.
unless you have free acess to a nice shop.

H1 beadlocks, 2 inch BDS Springs SOA, Hi steer, only 35 inch tires right now, once the thing is running, its getting 39 inch military tires.
did everything myself cept bore the motor (lack of machining eqip.) but i put it together myself. When i bought it, it had a 2.5 and only a shackle lift...My plans are NP435 or SM 465 tranny, OX locked front, 1 1/4 body lift, tummy tuck skids, super charger, maybe direct port nitrous injection hahaha
