Anyone into kung fu movies??

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I recognized him right away from Legend of the Drunken Master and Mad Monkey. That's a good tribute video, I'll have to check out more of his work.
RIP.

Just looked him up and seen that he's in The 36th Chamber of Shaolin. I have it, just haven't watched it yet. Might throw it on tonight if I have time.

I was impressed by his performance (already being older) in Operation Scorpio. I believe it is also called Scorpion King (it's the original scorpion king, not the mummy spin off with the rock)

he also directed a movie called Dirty Ho. I recommend that to everyone. I've never seen or heard of it until today, but with a title like that you can't go wrong

sup rock, thanks for the news. didn't know that

damn, the kung fu movie world lost a star. rip

Suuuumo!! Yea, besides Bruce Lee, Lau Kar Leung is credited for bringing "real" kung fu to the big screen, kung fu lineage straight from Wong Fei Hung himself!! Speaking of Bruce Lee, we missed you at the statue dedication in Chinatown, it was cool, did yu get my email?

Just posting Operation Scorpio here so I remember to check it later... and for anyone else who hasn't seen it.
