Anyone into kung fu movies??

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I expected more from that big Goro looking guy that Reaves killed. It was a kind of a waste to even have him in the movie if that's all he was used for.

yea, it's details like this that turned me off.

the reason why I am less forgiving of these things is BECAUSE i'm a fan of the genre. I really think the americans need to leave martial arts movies to them Asians. With today's technology I just hate to see an opportunity like making a movie about the great Japanese ronins go to waste. which I felt this did that

for example, they are gonna do a live action remake of Akira

freaking Akira??? seriously? I don't know man, they need to leave the classics alone. At least I think americans need to leave it alone. Didn't they learn anything from Dragon Ball Z???

fans are pissed

I was never really into Anime and I only know of the name Akira,so it was always just a cartoon?

Donnie Yen just signed on to lead in Crouching Tiger 2. Yuen Woo Ping is set to direct. This will be Donnies first english language film. Long as they keep the action on the ground, (that's where Donnie likes it, so it should) Im there.

I didn't much care for the first one.All the flying over trees and standing on the ends of tree branches did it in for me.

Definitely. Donnie is very anti-wire though, so Im hoping that tree hopping and running on walls stuff won't be a part of this film.
