I'd have to give the honor to Redemption since I enjoyed the fortified building backdrop.The kitchen scene in 2 is instant classic material though.

I just watched Ip man, the first true kung fu movie I've seen. It was fantastic. Any other movies to be recommended for someone who is just starting?

second one is not as good. rather disappointing really considering the first was so good. third one is apparently gonna be made soon, not sure about release date though

So far a lot of very violent fighting. Excellent stuff... Can't wait to watch the rest of it

Yeah,very violent.It doesn't seem to have as much action as Redemption but what it does have is awesome.
OMG..... Just finished Raid 2....
Absolutely the most violent modern day martial arts I have seen.... .the very last 3 fight sequences with weapons hammer, baseball bat and curved knives was just supreme. ...
Probably the best I have seen ...... Even better than the Donnie yen vs wu jing fight in the alley in SPL movie...and I never thought that scene would ever be bettered.....
... The fight sequences go on and on with very little editing.... The camera stays on the action...without moving away .. Amazing choreography...

Yeah the movie really picks up the last half!! I really love the fight scenes, I just wish they would have edited more of the shakey cam out!
