Anyone into offroading? In trucks jeeps and suvs?dialup beware

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Thx.The Subie has a four inch lift kit with about 4' of adjustment. The rear is also pneumatic and can be controlled in cab.Tyres are only 27's sitting on ford rims that have been re drilled .They stick out the guards about 2".They are just to high in the gearing even with the later model gearbox and diff to go larger.Great in sand and mud but lack in terrain like rocks.
The Prado is petrol,2" lift,Tough dog suspension kit with t/d 9 stage adjustable shocks.Tyres are Mickey Thompson's Baja MTZ 285/75 R16 .Which bar though I don't have the winch in yet.Diff locks are going in next , Rock sliders and then the winch and then I will be done.

sweet dude. I got 34 inch ltbs on my cruiser. By end of summer i will get the v8 swap done. Then im going spring over in the front and 4 link with coils in the back. I got some great junkyards near me for getting and mix matching parts gonna be a junkyard dog.

Be sure to post pics once you complete it.Will be a tough truck .The V8 converion will be a treat and the suspension mods will make a world of difference.Look foward to seeing the completed project!

It seems there are not many others here with an offroad passion?

The Ram is a 1500, unfortunatly, so I am stuck with stock because it is the only one in the Ram series that is IFS.:( My wrangler has GM 14 bolts, though. I try to keep the ram on the road, but I decided to have fun with it that night.

14b front axle? Or 2 rear 14b's?

My bad...14 rear, 10 front. They were a set from a 1 ton suburban.
