Anyone keep 30x18 footprint tanks?

I love that style footprint. I have a townhome so I can't have a big ol honkin tank without seriously taking up precious real estate in my living room. I have the 65g which is 36x18x24. Perfect smaller show tank. Also have a 37g which is 30x12x24 and is also great for the Angels I have in it. Always been a fan of taller tanks.

Joe I've always liked your tank. I also love the combo of red and black Fluorite that you did for the tank. :)

So it's a funny coincidence, someone posted a 36 bowfront setup on the local Craigslist two days ago. I emailed to see if they have it. It's a good price and has a nice stand and some good accessories. If it's still available I'll probably set it up for my con instead of the 29g he's supposed to go into. Although something like a 30x18x16 would be awesome, I probably won't find one unless I get it custom-built. Eh.

I don't really want to get a 56 column because my con doesn't really need that much room, and my future landlord is weird about big tanks (he said I couldn't have a 55g). I have to get tanks that at least "look" small. Hahaha.

Go for the bowfront. it will give him plenty of room, but not be overly large. And if you happen to find a 56g column tank in the future, you can snap it up as well ;).

Here are a few pics of the 56 column tank I have (as well as the wall of tanks that it sits in - 125g, 90g, 56g column).

Looks like good reading room.

Natalie, you know I have dismantled the CA setup in the 65 and put the Midas (Flourite and all) into a 75 right? I now have Africans in the 65(tank is currently looking 1000% better than this picture due to the algae growth over all the rocks and B, makes it look like all the same material):

Thanks for the pictures, Conner and Joe! Conner, I am really digging that 56g size. I've never seen one in person but if a used one comes along, I really might have to snatch it up!

Joe, I knew you moved your midas to the 75g but didn't know that you redid the 65. It looks AWESOME!
