Anyone keep a Fahaka with other fish?

Just what the title says, if you do what other fish have you kept with them?

My little 3 incher is in with 4 datnoids. They pick on my fahaka. My datnoids are 4-6 inches.

some people have had minor success with keeping small fast moving schooling fish. Once the fahaka grows up everything will be fair game

I have heard of more than one person able to keep large danios....but that is about it..

Its all a gamble whether or not a fahaka can be housed with tankmates... although most of the time they tend to get more aggressive with age, so just coz it works when they are young, doesn't mean they wouldn't turn on any thing put in the tank with them as they age...

PufferPunk had a Electric Blue JD if i remember correctly living with hers for a long time with no problems, then one day it decided to turn on the JD and that was the end of the JD... but i'm sure PP will be in here to show you pics if she sees this...

Thickness, my fahaka, used to be housed with a dat...they were fine together for quite a while, then one day the puffer tried to rip the face off of the dat....


now the puffer has a pleco buddy. it is a matter of time.

Mine is between 4"-5" and is with 1 tiger barb, 2 buenos aires tetras, 1 white fin tetra, 2 serpae tetras and 1 gold dwarf gourami. It's fine with me if they get eaten...
