Anyone keep discus?

I have a 200 gallon, trying to think of my new fish venture I want to set it all up in about a year or so anyone have experence keeping discus? Anytips or good reads about them

i would buy the group at once between 2 and 3 in grow them out keep them at about 84 degrees and change alot of water at least weekly thats the trick to discus
 
There is a discus section under the cichlids section, with some good people to talk to about them.

all u need to know about this.

and discus are easy to keep in my opinion. as long as u buy them from a good source. id avoid local fish store unless they get them from a quality source. otherwise they mainly sell crappy ones at a high price. check out that forum and look under vendor section. theres some vendors on there that gets quality discus for good prices.
 
Before getting into discus, ask yourself if you want to be like Gunga Din LOL!. To properly maintain discus, you need lots of water changes. Discus are high maintenance fish.

Not true at all. I have 5 Discus living together that came from 3 different sources, about 6 months apart. Not only are they not killing each other, they are breeding.
