you have all that joe? lol![]()
i have read the fl fish and game site for months.
they word it difficult
but the way i see it,for freshwater,if its not on the "game fish" list its all good.
only game fish you have to be careful.
bass, good luck, usually anything under 12 or 14 inches has to go back.
bluegill and suns,50 bag limit,no size limit, only on rod and reel unless you have a permit for the other ways.
i have the lists if anyone wants to see.its on the web too
Sorry, I lost the thread.
I did...Hurricane damage took care of that tho. i had to prove all fish died and none escaped so they are thru with me now.
Time limit on cert.s ran out.
Looking for funding to rebuild research station (got any spare change), Grants are impossible now, with others (the big guys) having to rebuild their centers also. (not very many care about ecological resouces of Fl native fish if not in major areas) Housing prices skyrocketed so we're loosing wetlands like crazy and they put in drainage ponds that don't hold water or are polluted, lake and river access is impossible cause all land is being privately bought up and built on. Then water is polluted from run off of pesticides and fertilizers. Licensing & permit costs going up again. Getting more strict also.
I'm getting to old for the games. (patients was nerver one of my vertues)
If funding doesn't come in soon I'll probably just go back to being a pirate and just keep 'em for my own enjoyment.
Still, it is nice to whip out your permits when they think they've caught you doing something wrong and tell them to go away they're scaring the fish.
