Just wondering how "dwarf" the dwarf retics are. I'd like to maybe get one, depending on exactly how much snake I'm looking at once it's full-grown. I'll apparently have to do some looking though, as all the Jampea's I see for sale lately are albinos or tigers or some such...

I'm also interested in dwarf retics/burms. I heard they top out at 10'' most of the time. Whats wrong with tigers and albinos?

I don't mind 'em but I really like the look of a normal retic, to me they're one of the most beautfiul snakes with the pattern they have...especially with a nice yellowhead & orange eyes.

Oh and the tigers and albino tiger dwarfs are wicked expensive :(

I've seen dwarf super tigers on Kingsnake for about 500, wich isnt that bad.

OK, well I think I'll be looking into one then. I've kept retics before so I know what I'm getting into, but I just don't have the space for a really huge constrictor now. A dwarf @ 10'-12' or so will be perfect.

lol thats still huge in my book. Just to let you know they have super dwarfs that top out at 5-7' I think if you get them from a reputable breeder, and I've seen dwarf burms for $500 that top out at 4-6' just to let you know some options. Good Luck with your choice.

^Yep saw some dwarf burms for sale, apparently it's an island locale and they don't get big.

The only dwarf retics I know of are the Jampea, is there another locale of dwarf retic besides the Jamps?

Just got to www.market.kingsnake.com and look at all the Dwarfs in the Python sections, some really cool ones. With all thr bans on large constrictors, Dwarfs are the way to go.

I hope to own 2 dwarf retics, and two dwarf burms. :)
