Now that's what I would like to have in an aquarium !!!!!!

I think though they they would be too big even for my good lady wife !!

I picked up my Tor - I think I have 3 different species, plus 4 copper mahseer (N hexagonalepis) .. I shall try and get some pics.

The largest are about 10"

Nice pics of the golden mahseer. I currently have 3 silver and 2 gold in my aquarium ranging from 1 feet to 8 inchs. On the lookout for the red ones which is pretty hard to get except if you live in Malaysia and Thailand.

They are very few and far between in the UK - especially the more unusual species - occasionally they pop up on availability lists - usually from malaysia or singapore - many species are restricted - so no humpback mahseer in the UK - darn

I only know of one or two other keepers in the UK.
