Anyone Keep Scorpions?

I have researched some other species, but I have only ever had an Asian forest scorpion... Meanest little SOB that I have ever seen. Every time I walked into the room he would put on a threat display and glare at me as though he wanted to rip my face off.

Yea my brother wanted one so I was thinking of setting up a tank, getting him one and surprising him with it. I hope his room mate doesn't mind living with a scorpion.

i Had a huge emperor who was the loudest little bastard at night... other wise there cool, and the sting of an emperor is like a bad bee sting.

The largest Pandinus imperator sell for $10-15 where I see them at pet shops. $40 is way too high. They are cool low maintenance pets though. I have kept about a dozen species of scorpions ranging from Pandinus imperator to Lerius quinquestriatus.

From what I understand the bigger the scorpion the less deadly the sting. Is that correct
