Regarding the tank raised F1 order, Have you looked at the photos? The bars are rather inconsistent. Also, are you sure they are Orinoco altum and not just a big scalare from Peru? I heard the importer speak at the Louisville Tropical Fish club meeting this past Sunday. He was promoting his discus and these tank raised altums. He said they were true Peruvian Altums, that is a scalare.
Also, the SE Asian fish breeders will take shortcuts, are these fish a hybrid? Was the spawning drug induced?
