My school of 6 are currently ranging in size from 4-6 inches and growing. They're eating shrimp pellets, tilapia, blood and tubifex worms. They eat anything.

In my experience, tinfoils really aren't fussy on what they get to eat. The ones i have now are almost exclusively on hikari cichlid gold which they go nuts for and that really brings out the red and black in their fins.

Yellow/lemon fin barbs look good too, got a pair of them with the tinfoils and their bright yellow fins do look quite stunning.

Just toos bacon in the tank the other fish will come out

Oi Neer. I had the same problem with my Rainbowfish. I had 2, and they did the EXACT same thing. Then I got 3 more, and they are fine.

ahh thats good then because i feed all of my fish hikari gold pellets as a staple! yeah anthony im gonna do that as soon as my lfs gets more in

They need and like a veggie matter. I feed mine a lot of fresh zucchini, frozen peas, lettuce, and fresh herbs. Veggie based pellets also. And of course they will eat anything the other fish eat.

yeah i have an L330 in there so they can eat anything he eats

Tin foils are about as bullet proof as anything. Their rough play is completley harmless. Just know that they can get 15 inches or so. Lemon barbs are cool also but I have seen 20 inch specimens at the Toledo Zoo. Very good dither nonetheless. Will eat anything. I feed mine that I had for 7 years nothing but tetra min large flakes and they were fine.
