Don't worry if he turns solid black for a while, even a couple of months. They'll often do that while adjusting to new surroundings.

This is completely true ^^^ my managuense was black for months and a lot here said it was female, turned out male watch the JD as time slips by the managuense will rule the tank they are very territorial. By far my favorite fish.terd ferguson;4432411; said:
