Hello all,

Ive just recently watched a couple of documentaries-

BBC Wild South America The Mighty Amazon river and
Aquatic Kingdom

Does anyone know of any others that have Monster Fish on them?

Nat. Geographic's Jewel of the Rift. It's about Lake Tanganyika and it rocks. Even shows an otter messing with an Mbu Puffer.

Secrets of the Golden River
Amazon Abyss
Blue Planet
Planet Earth (particularly the two episodes on the ocean and the freshwater one. The cave episode had some interesting fish species)
Jewels of the Rift
Nigel Marven's "Pirahnas", "Electric Eels", "Bullsharks". You can find those on his websight www.nigelmarven.com
Barracuda! (that one was on AnimalPlanet)
Land of the Flooded Forest
Thrill Zone: Hooked! Monster Fish
Thrill Zone: Hooked Again: Monster Fish
Big Mouthis about largemouth bass
Way of the Trout
Sturgeon: Ancient Survivors of the Deep
Paddlefish: An American Treasure
Darwin's Nightmare is about the introduction of non-native Nile perch into lake Vicotria in Africa
Larry Dahlberg's The Hunt for Big Fish It's a fishing show but typically features large freshwater species such as pbass, jau catfish, RTC etc.
Pacific Abyss is about the discovery of new fish species in the Pacific ocean

December 19th at 10:00 PM on the History Channel. MonsterQuest is having an episode about big fish species from around the globe. It's called "Big Fish"

Darwin's Nightmare is more of a doc on the economy of the fish as a food source than on the actual fish itself.

Fishing shows... I think most are boring as hell, but every once in a while they'll be after pikes or halibut or something, and that's impressive.

I saw an awesome episode where they were catching humongous catfish in the amazon. (or it could have been another tannin river just like it. I don't remember) Anyway they were using like 10 ft rods.. These cats were definite monsters.
