I've used the online translators, but they are saying different things..

The problem with online translators is they don't take into account slang. They just try and translate it by the book.

it depends on what your intentions are literal translation is espiritu libre or for the religious libre de espiritu. hope this is of help to you.

well basically its a horse tattoo with free spirit written underneath in spanish, more too do with me i think than religion, so i think literal would fit? what do you think?
