Anyone know this person on aquabid?

I have done what I can to report "shiesters" on Aquabid. It seems to favor the sellers. You can report bad buyers but not sellers as far as I can see.

Stick with a credit card. You can always dispute a transaction. These disputes are usually easy to win.

ex: Purchase agreement, no merchandise delivered or wrong merchandise delivered, refund requested, refund denied, dispute filed, money refunded. :)

There was someone on this board recently who went a step further with a sale from "johntalong" and he sent her an email saying the rays were AKC certified. Obviously he forgot to edit all of his generic scam email he was using for dogs. I've bought from Aquatictreasures before and I was super pleased with them.

I finally got an email response....I had said I was interested in taking a drive to see them since he had such a large selection. He had 5 breeder pairs, and countless others on aquabid, and several are still listed.


"Sorry just sold them all out. I'll let you know when i get some more in! Thank you!"


I have a lot of time on my hands these days. I might just make this my "special project" for a while.

I just found the aquabid reporting tool, and explained everything that this guy has going. They should at least be wondering why he told me he was sold out when he still has like 30 of them listed.

We'll see what happens... But, the way I feel about it, If they continue to let that happen, then I won't be doing ANY business on aquabid. If I was just using "billyboy" for my username, that would be one thing. But I represent a business that I am trying to start the RIGHT way. I will not represent myself anywhere has this type of fraudulent activity continuing.

Thanks again for looking out for me everyone. I'm starting to make a few friends already, and that's what I came here to do.

I got up this morning to check on my "Special Project", and when I went to look at one of the listings, it said this-

Account Under Investigation

 
It's funny to see that today he has a new listing. I sent him another message now...saying that "I see you have gotten some more rays in. I would like to come and select my favorites prior to bidding, I can come anytime"...

I wish I could get his I.P. to pass out...
