Epsom salts will help. Best serve by dipping method. Did you fast the fish yet?

well, i need to clear the fish out of my smaller tank so that i can put him in there to be able to fast him, if i were to do epsom salts, how much should i put in per gallon of water?
 
it looks like the platys I saw at my LFS today. exactkly like it I should have taken pics :(
 
It looks like a Balloon Belly Molly. They come in all colors and different markings. Here is a picture from my LFS.
